what we ate back east

the Grand Szechuan in Chelsea with Chika, Patsy and Carol, reprising a dinner we had here five years ago. The chili chicken was fiery, and I was, for a good portion of the meal, zingingly numb from the Szechuan peppercorn in the curious potato strings dish (the one that looks like a pile of spaghetti squash).
