The Elmhurst Library faces out onto 88th Ave., a half-block east of International Boulevard in East Oakland.  Although the library is small and has limited resources, it is a well-established neighborhood institution much appreciated and used by the community.  In response to a RFP issued by the Friends of Elmhurst Library, I recently developed a concept plan for improving the open space behind the library.
