Sewer main ruptured at 6301 Hillmont. The break was reported on Saturday, Dec 4, 2004, and promptly reconnected the following day. The pipes are joined at an awkward angle due to the downward shift in the upstream embankment. A large oak tree hovers precariously on top of the creek, as its root system is mostly undermined by continued erosion. Even after City Maintenance rejoined the pipes, a thin stream of wastewater continues to leak into the creek.
