Subject: RE: [Friendsof2Creeks] Chimes Creek turbidity and pumping

 Dear Jun,

I support the request to look into what is happening with the runoff from the quarry project. The creek running through Mills College is really nasty looking. It is very, very, dark and murky with lots and lots of foam formation. It actually looks quite sinister!!!

I am troubled by how much the creek through Mills has changed since the quarry project has started. In fact, I am amazed at the degree of change, including water quality and major erosion.

I look forward to hearing a report,

 Barbara Sutherland
