This is not an official complaint.

I just want all concerned parties to know that Chimes Creek now runs cloudy all the time that work is being done in the Quarry. Apparently much of this cloudiness the City feels is acceptable and I only make complaints when this cloudiness increases to mudiness but it is very obviously a worsening of water quality.

The Creek also has increased its flow rate both during and between storm events. This is due to the constant pumping of filtered water from the detention pond and Ridgemont and sub drain run off that used to infiltrate the ground or get held in the detention pond but is now piped directly into
the storm drain and straight into the Creek.

Earlier this week I showed the mud slide that had eroded from my property to Jun Osalbo who had to agree that erosion of my property had increased after sub drain run off had been connected directly to storm drains in early January (dont blame him, it is totally obvious and undeniable)

In short, the water quality is worse. The volume is higher. The erosion has increased. All due to construction in Leona Quarry.

Does anyone remember saying that the standard for this project was "not to make the Creek worse"?
