Subject: RE: Mystery discharge 2/7/05

Mark,

The discharge from Leona Quarry construction site is only from the subdrain,
connected into the inlet at Mountain Blvd. The water at this location was
inspected this afternoon and was found clean. The site filtration system
connected to the detention pond was turned off and the water in the pond is
clear. There is no other discharge from the site. The creek was checked this
afternoon at 12:50 pm and water at the creek appears to be very clear. There
was no sign that the creek was dirty. The flow is limited within the small
concrete channel that was built to create the falls in your backyard.
However, there was an instance when a dog running upstream of your property
created disturbance and muddied the creek; this may have happened again.
