Subject: RE: Chimes Creek
Thanks. I did get both a call and an email to my home email from Ms. Sidebotham.
Can you tell me when the notices were mailed out and how many were mailed? I think Ms. Sidebotham's request to have a meeting at a time and location convenient for the homeowners does make a lot of sense. I've been talking to Raul about this problem for over six months and the need for a community meeting. The argument of having to hurry to get responses from the public by having a meeting at a time when they won't be there, in preparation for a council meeting doesn't make a lot of sense.
If it was just a small mailing, I would suggest you reschedule for an evening time at a neighborhood location and we can bring it to the committee later. I'd rather get meaningful information at a later date than frustrated community members who can't come to contribute. The community is already living with a lot of stress about this and creek erosion. The last thing we should be doing is making participation more difficult.
