Subject: Leona Quarry Jan 3, 8 and 9 releases

Jun

I still have not heard the results of your investigation of the large release of turbid water from Leona Quarry on Jan 3. Nor have I heard what was causing the extremely turbid water in Chimes Creek on Sat and Sun Jan 8 and 9 that I reported to you on the phone.

Incidentally, the sewer line that fell apart in December was broken again when I looked at it on Jan 6 again spilling raw sewage into Chimes Creek. It has since been repaired but it would appear that having a sewer line exposed and hanging in the air leads to repeated failures and sewage spills into the creek. I am disappointed that the City has not found an adequate
solution to this particular sewer line problem since the community has been complaining about it for over a decade.

As always I appreciate you looking into these matters.
