Subject: Leona Quarry Project

Mr. Uzegbu:

I wanted to confirm that the City Council will receive an informational report on the status of the Leona Quarry Project and consider response to our letters, but will not take final action to approve the tract maps for the project at the City Council meeting on December 15, 2004.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide a detailed response to our letters.  We have reviewed the developer's answer to our letters, and agree that they are making progress towards compliance with the Conditions of Approval and stormwater discharge permit.  While we agree that the City's response to our letters should discuss the developer's answer, we do not believe the developer's answer adequately addresses the issues raised in our letters.  We continue to believe the City should convene a meeting with the developer, agencies, Millsmont Homeowner's Association, and other stakeholders to discuss and collaboratively resolve the issues raised.

Thank you for your time.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Sincerely,

Julie Gantenbein
