Subject: RE: Leona Quarry violations keep on coming

Mark,
The City has responded to your first complaint of dirty water last lateWednesday and determined that on Friday, there was a leak from the pond to the culvert. The leak of dirty water is possibly from the standpipe, theconnection or from the pipes. The main conclusion is that the pond is not holding all the water and some dirty water from the pond is going into Chimecreek.

DeSilva is aware of the problem and the City would be enforcing the conditions of approval on the project.

There is some water on the fire access road, south of the pond parallel tothe freeway. This is  trapped water in the site on the surface that is not going anywhere, may take longer to dry out due to tree cover and has not been addressed by DeSilva Gates.

If you have any other question, please let me know.
